Private Tuition

For artists who are wanting to hone specific skills in drawing and painting. Sometimes it is difficult to develop skills and find the motivation to work independently. If this sounds like you then private tuition can unlock your creativity.

£50/hour or £450/month.
Special offer £1200 for three months.
Private lessons tailored to you.

What’s included

Single Hour Option

• A private lesson with Richard at his studio in Barnsley. In order to get the most out of your experience, a minimum 2hr lesson is advised.

• All materials for your lesson.

• Planning and prep.

Monthly Options

• 9 hours of private tuition per month at my studio. It is recommended that you consolidate your lessons (e.g. three x 3hr lessons per month or equivalent)

• All materials required for your lessons.

• Planning and prep.

• Advice on materials and good studio practice.

• Option to work independently in Richard’s studio for one day per month with Richard on hand for guidance.

• Email response in-between lessons to support independent practice.

• Business guidance (pricing, commissions, marketing, client relationships, etc.)

 Best suited to artists building a drawing and/or painting based practice in either portrait, landscape or still life subject matter or a combination.
