Landscapes in Oils, Saturday 17th April, 2027.

£110.00

Celebrate the great Yorkshire landscape with the return of Richard’s Landscapes in Oils workshop.

What will I learn?

  • How to mix a range of greens and earth tones.

  • How to paint skies.

  • Composition, how to observe the landscape and organise you’re painting.

The overall theme of the workshop will be to echo Richard’s approach to painting landscapes in the open air. The morning will cover basic oil painting techniques, colour mixing and quick painting exercises. In the afternoon you will produce a finished landscape painting, applying the techniques you have practiced. The workshop will be underpinned with demonstrations, individual advice and feedback.

Ideal for anyone with some experience of painting with oil paint and/or have attended an introduction to oil painting style workshop.
